I'm downloading like 25+ GB of torrent goodness right now and the upstream/downstream rate drops to 0 when the internet drops out

The internet (two computers) icon on the taskbar goes from Local Only (like it just went to as i'm typing this) back up to Local and Internet.

I've tried resetting the routers and it's a computer wide problem so I guess Ill call that bitch ass hoe of an ISP up and keep my pimp hand strong

My internet keeps doing the exact same thing.  I called them (AT&T) up and threatened the Indian people on the other line so they said they would send a tech dude out to check out the line last Saturday.  They promptly sent out a line tech on Thursday, while I was at work.  Now I can't remember what vile threat I swore, so I can't execute it.  Times are sad right now.

Had this problem off and on for about 1.5 years. AT&T Indians told me it was my fault. Finally a tech came about and after about 30mins he came back to the house saying that it had been a bad port on the neighborhood's hub.

Fuck AT&T.

Does the same thing happen if you disable the torrents? The past 2 or 3 routers I've had couldn't handle the bandwidth of a good torrent; so many connections adding overhead.

I've had way more torrents running at once before, like 8 with 220+ KB/s
