the Keating TKR has a 7-litre V8 developing a hysterical 1,800bhp.
Official performance figures are yet to be released but the TKR hit 260.1mph during testing at the Mojave Desert in California.
Beats the SSC Ultimate Aero (former title holder), and the Bugatti Veyron (what everyone thinks is still the fastest production car cos they're noobs including Top Gear)

But then according to the same website, the new Aero TT can hit 270Mph!

Wouldn't exactly call that a production car: I can't walk into their dealership and order one.

Im not really going to be impressed if its anything like the SSC and only goes really fast in a straight line.   There are a few very quick cars out there like the SSC and the Koenigsegg CCXR, but the Veyron is the only car that goes 400km/h in a civilized and managable way.  Thats why the Veyron is such an impressive feat of engineering; it can go incredibly fast but isn't just a race car with headlights and indicators.

Same with an Enzo... They're called production cars because they are sold to the public, not for dedicated racing.

Would you call the CLK-GTR a prod car? I wouldn't. The enzo, however, is. You could order one.

No you can't.

The Enzo was initially announced at the 2002 Paris Motor Show with a limited production run of 349 units and priced at US $643,330. The company sent invitations to existing customers, specifically, those who had previously bought the Ferrari F40 and Ferrari F50. All 349 cars were sold in this way before production began

Not long after they had the Veyron on first they mentioned in their news segment that the SSC Ultimate Aero had broken it's record.

Yeah that's what I love about the Veyron. It's not like every other supercar where you'd be stalling it and scaring old ladies every time you gave it a little bit of gas. It's comfy and you aren't forced to sit on a paper thing carbon fiber seat. It's comfortable and sophisticated.

A sky blue Zonda isn't exactly good-looking, but at least it can be, unlike a Veyron which is just hideous all the time.
