Anyone ever watched this show when it was running on HBO? I never watched it than but just started after I acquired the complete 5 seasons as a recommendation from a friend.

So any fans of it at all here or anyone just catch a few episodes and not like it?

Seen series 1 to 3, brilliant programming, will buy 4 and 5 when prices are more reasonable.

I also read an article the other day that drugs gangs in large cities are adopting tactics they learnt from The Wire.

i really like season 2. the finale part is really well tied-up and left quite 'realistic' in its hopelessness and lack of proper denouement. i also feel loads of empathy for the dockyard union boss- he's such a well portrayed character, you see both sides and both motivations in his life. sympathy as well as pity. it's fucking brilliance.

Entourage is fucking awesome, I agree season 6 went downhill though. Hopefully they'll get their shit together for season 7.

Entourage was good for the first few seasons. Now it's played out, the characters are drawn thin and they should have ended the series with last season's finale. Perfect wrap up -
