It's meant to be like that, there's an achievement to not kill any of them.

Yes, for those of you outside of Aus and Germany you might not have heard about it.
Basically if you live in censor land you can still play the full gore version by changing the steam appid from 550 to 510. You can't play with non 510 users but meh. Everyone i know who has the game has made the fix.
I believe that it tricks the system into believing you are running the l4d2 dedicated server and a side effect of this is that you can't get any achievements as they are already completed.

Finally got the gaz guzzler achievement. Now I'm neva eva gonna play scavenge again. It's fun when you have two equal team going against but then it sucks donkey balls when the teams are uneven.

make sure you are doing the 'team vs' mode, not just regular versus... and make sure you win!haffeysucks wrote:
