Voted for cats, they bring me entertainment. Especially my sis's younger cat who can play fetch. My dog is just a pain in the ass, if no one is giving him attention he will just annoy you when you are all relaxed or watching a movie so he can go outside. Sometimes he wants to go outside even though he just was there a few minutes ago Not to mention he has an ear infection so he smells terrible.

I also love both, but if i have to pick one, then dogs. I also have one (westie terrier) who is a quiet dog, small and not smelly as he is sleeping in the house. Actually he is like a bigger cat and he is smart!
