Yesterday I was playing Battlefield 2 on "[Super@Infantry.Clan.64] 11 24/7 UK Operation Blue Pearl" when all of the sudden I got kicked with some PB message "->PBSV: VIOLATION (MULTIHACK) #70766: <Spaminator92> (slot #18) Violation (MULTIHACK) #70766 [6b7b420cf56a0f5e8140ebc2b12a4428(-) 213.219.137.7:1749]"

I immediatly appealed the ban, because I do not cheat. I appealed on PBBans, but I had to appeal to EvenBalance at the same time. On my first appeal EvenBalance replied with this answer " Note #3: We do not find this violation to be triggered in error, and it will not be removed. It is at the discretion of the third-party ban list administrator to remove any ban given as a result of this violation." Immediatly followed by my appeal being closed on pbbans.. I added a new ticket note that this is just pure Kafkaesque. I do not know why I'm getting banned, neither will they tell me or is there any possible way to resolve this..

What do I do?

Well it's a PB-Bans ban.. Meaning they stream to many other servers I believe.. from which I am all wrongfully banned now

Hmm, it seems I can play on other servers. I thought PB-Bans streamed to many other servers too.. so that the ban would be global.. I guess not

This sucks though, I have played for many hours on that single server already, there were some great players there always up for a good game.. *Sigh*

This is a global ban, the violation is the result of a evenblance's punkbuster program.
We have no control over its instigation or removal.
We stream to pbbans and therefore until the ban is removed by 3rd party anti-cheat organizations then you will remain banned from our and all other similarly configured streaming servers .

You've been banned because punkbuster has detected a program, memory pattern which matches its
There have been many cases of false positives, where programs such as xfire have caused punkbuster kicks.
As you have appealed and they appear to have responded extremely quickly, they appear to be extremely confident you have some illicit program which interferes with Battlefield 2.

Before you start installing any further copies of BF2 make sure your computer is clean, or this could be an expensive month.

I thought it would be self evident.

But if I must, Jamsey/Flamesey has taken it upon himself (with his little fan club) to comment on our servers on numerous occasions and locations making unsubstantiated and derogatory comments, it appears as the result of some sort of insecurity on his part we have become the target of his ire.
A surprising situation when he has far as I am aware has not played on the majority of our servers at all and any for sometime.

Note - [Supe@Infantry.Clan] is the most popular BF2 host in the world. Approx 900 players at peak times, 10,000's of players each week.

It should also be noted while we are support the Battlefield community to the tune of 10,000 Euro's a year so people can play the game they enjoy for free, he contributes nothing but negative asinine comments.

Why you allow such clowns to continue to be the cause of disharmony in your forums is your concern.

Battlefield 2 is not being kept alive by this idiot is it! ?

Why is he being afforded the right to abuse contributors with recourse ?

He may try to bully players and clans but we will stand up for ourselves against such small minded useless individuals.

I like the Super@ servers, that's my point of view and shouldn't be discussed here. I'm just mad at the EvenBalance support because they didn't give me any sort of explanation where the ban is coming from and decided I should remain banned.. My ticket is closed now, should I just open a new one?

Who cares how many players you attract to your server? the majority of bf2 infantry players are just looking to run around throwing 2000 grenades and spamming 5000 claymores with no thought towards teamwork or skill.

I capture flags every time I play public, I squad lead, your server frowns upon this and encourages players to rambo around nading and claymoring every corner in the game, its servers like yours that are the reason bf2 is dead, not players like me.

what have you installed recently? or downloaded?
check your server history at the german site to see if anyone else managed to play your account.
I can't find a record of you on the stats sites so unless you want to post your PID here, i would suggest you input your PID into the German site and look at your server history http://www.spielerstats.de/.

The PB lists 17 IPs and 5 alias for your GUID. Nothing suspicious there.

I'm certain it's just a faulty PB detection, I had been playing for a while when all of a sudden I got banned. There's not much I can do except appealing to EvenBalance, who are being a bitch and giving me the worst CS I could wish for..

The muppet you speak of is a long time member of this forum and I know his behaviour very well both on this forum and have played with him enough to take his advice concerning choice of servers to play on ... and it's not like his comments about your servers are unique, when multiple people say the same things is beginning to look like a trend.
