the kit lense for that camera is 18-55mm. @ 75-300, you might want a tripod with it - even with image stabilization, i've found it hard to shoot 300 with some shake. sounds like a reasonable price . . .Eifa wrote:

and the price is good, the lense alone costs 240-350€, and the camera starting from 400€ all the way up to 700.

nice one, i love pics. i love taking pics. its just that, my camera is shit. really shit (my phonecam is way better so that alone says something), and just want to pay more than just 100€ for a new one, since (hopefully) i'm going to use it for a long time.

i think you'll be happy with the camera, it'll take nice pictures as you get into it, and any lenses you buy will fit other Canon aps - c cameras.
might have to go and have a look at it next monday. and if i get too exited i just might walk out of the store with the camera.
