Agreed. Regular US high school classes are nothing short of a joke. I could get As in each and every one of them without ever stepping a foot in class.

AP classes teach you how to take AP exams, feed you with knowledge about the test and that's about it.

IB classes are closer to what I'd imagine euro classes are like, as it's an international program, standards for it are the same everywhere. Maybe even higher than a typical euro class - are IB kids the "smart" kids in other countries as well? I don't know.

Yes. It doesn't give me much credit for college either (AP would have been more useful), but the bullshitting skills acquired from completing said program is invaluable. 2000 word research paper? No problem, no research needed. A.

Well in Europe IB is a lot more recognized, but I personally think AP is a lot better than IB. It's just unnecessary amount of work. You need a 4 on AP exams for credit.

It is, credit-wise. A lot of the IB kids here take AP tests too, for credit in college. I did it. I got the diploma, but it's of little value. Some of the skills gained during the program though have really helped me adapt to college work. Plus all my friends did it.

At least major in management dude. Leisure management sounds like hotel management, which I guess is useful if you want to manage a hotel but what if you can't get a job at one?

Ideally you'd major in something like accounting, finance, economics, engineering, a science... or just anything and then go to law school or med school or vet school or pharmacology school (although for those last three you'd have to take those science courses that are pre-reqs)

But hey, whatever makes you happy. I don't get why everyone's acting so butthurt over your degree choice, it's not like they're affected.

So true, that's the reason I changed course. Took me until the end of the year to figure out there was no way I was going to make it through another three years of it though. Changing course was the best decision I ever made, I actually enjoy what I do now rather than just suffer through it and hope I get a degree.
