Update: much closer to a foot now, it dropped like 4 inches since my last cig!

About a foot and a half or something. I don't know. A lot of the main roads are surprisingly clean. But the side roads, sidewalks and shit are totally covered in snow.

They haven't released any official numbers I think. All I know is when I was walking on some uncleaned sidewalk (like, not even touched by snowplows) it was coming up near my knee and I'm 6 feet tall. Definitely some of the heaviest snowfall DC has ever received.

My girlfriend, her dad and I got stuck in two snowdrifts. First time we used some good old muscle power to dig out snow and push the car out. The second time a bunch of passers-by pushed it out.
