Unfortunately none of those bonuses are still valid, maybe 4-5 years ago, all the companies like Autodesk and Adobe now put far more money into developing for the PC because its what the business world uses. Out of the 70 or so artists at my company less than 10 use macs. All my music producing mates also use PC's and have told me countless times that music software is just as good on PC's.

Macs are basically for people who want to pay 2x more for something of less value.

not to mention Macs are sheek. Its like a status symbol or a social statement more than functionality anymore. I see these dudes at the airport all the time with their macbooks and their coffee shop revolutionary style, ridiculous.

fyi i own a sony vaio that i have used more, as well as one of those ultra-cool self-built pc's that you guys like to suck each other's dongs over so much. tee hee. and as far as creative-applications, writing/designing/producing/dj'ing goes, i find the mac infinitely better and an easier more work-conducive platform. if it works fer me, it's worth the paltry extra £££. pretty simple.
