Ibuprofaen will help as it anti-flamm. I use 'Ibelieve' when having trouble with my neck, it isnt a heat/cold spray - gel its got Ibupro in it and it goes through the skin. I get bad backs n necks all the time, Im too stubborn not to play hockey with it though, love it too much (not the ice kind btw).
