...if is is 100% certain that the earth will be hit again by a giant meteor that will hit us in 5 years and there is no way to avoid it.
So by knowing that we are all gonna die, and there is no way to run, how would the earth's population react?
Panic? War? Peace?
i'm not basing this on 2012 or any of that bullshit, but was wondering how we would all live and behave knowing that in 5 years no matter what we are all gonna vanish.

I personally believe there will be panic due to human nature but after a couple of months or so people will just drop the hatred toward each other and live 5 years of absolute peace. There is no need to fight if we are all gonna die anyway, whether you are black, asian, white or what ever you are.
What do you guys think?

Doubtful. Human nature isn't like that. We aren't a peaceful being.

We'd kill each other, rape people, it would be total terror. You give every human being the idea of them not living in 5 years, that means that consequences are limited. You can basically do what you want.

There may be about 2 years of "normality" because people don't really believe it and they want to save money or do something awesome... then it would turn into chaos.

Give the human race 2 months to live and you will see just how destructive we are.

People would start to do anything to get into "Heaven"...perhaps it might start another crusade or even a massive jihad.
