Rach Prelude C minor

Why I decided to start to learn this piece I don't know, because for sure I'll start learning the rest of his work and that will probably drive me insane because of frustration

This is much easier (sorry, score only)

Oh, and

that's what i meant by batshit insane

I like the dreary solitude feeling I get when I listen to Nocturnes.  They are not unlike the Funeral Marches from Chopin and Wagner in that regard.

I like this mash up by Dr Octagon (Dan the Automater from Del/ Handsome Boy Modeling School)

I went to go see The Barber of Seville today. It was great. Gotta love an opera where you laugh constantly

that hutchens piece i posted above is one that i'm really really enjoying now. i don't think anyone has a recording of it though, so you'll just have to play it yourself.

otherwise

I suggest you just listen and not watch lest the douchebag antics distract you from a really nice piece.

I like Yann Tiersan's piano stuff, plus anything dark and somber by JS Bach is good for me too.  Same with Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody - solid piece.

Prefer baroque and early classical TBH.
Should probably put some effort into learning about it but don't really see the point.

... cause it's real music?

baroque and the golden-age classical shit is pretty 'out of touch' with today's stuff, sure, but it's always interesting to see where it came from
