What I like are the old pics of BF2 with the Blackhawk and it has rocket pods!  Also the pics of peeps roping in off Blackhawk from early dev screenies of the game.

yeah i like the idea of rappelling down the line from a blackhawk. what would be nicer is if the blackhawk can deploy a line in which an entire squad can attach themselves for quick evacuation. this would enable the pilot to pickup a squad without landing and endagering his aircraft. it would also give the gunner positions better view of the surrounding area and provide supressing fire. only drawback is i have no idea how long it will take the squad to climb up the line and into the helicopter (if they can even do that) while attached to the rope. i remember seeing a demonstration of it long time ago at an air show in el toro airbase, california. the squad looked like ginger bread men doing the spread eagle body pose while attached to the cord hanging from the blackhawk.

NO THEY ARE NOT, sea hawks have many changes than the black hawk, it has armor every were and the computers are more precise and the radio system is much better. With much much more, i cant stand the ignorance on this site.

Kinda like the "winch line" feature of the helos in BFV?  pilot lowers the line, you run up and press your enter key, and you hook up with your "SPIES" rig for quick extraction.  you dangle there till your pilot takes you to a clear LZ, and you press your enter key to "un-hook", and be on you merry way on foot, or your pilot retracts/drops the line, hovers lower and the fire team jumps in the helo as passengers/gunners.

Kinda like these fellas I saw doing fly-arounds CP Casey, Korea:

since when did you become the expert on military aircraft? the seahawk is just a variant of the blackhawk. it was developed after the blackhawk was already chosen by the army. both aircrafts can be modified to carry the same equipment. i cant stand ignorance either but your arrogance just shows you dont know what you are talking about.

edit: oh and by the way, the crew seats on a seahawk does not have armor protection like the blackhawk. so i dont know where you got the information that the seahawk has "armor every were".

Yeah and they could of used the hind able to transport to make teams even, if they were to make the blackhawk have missiles.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.

Why don't one you show proof they are the same. Go get websites on them, then we will know which one of you is right. Then one can be the winner and we can all be happy.

Who gives an actual shit whether it's a BH/SH/has armour "every where" (sic)? Just fly the thing and shoot people with it, ffs.

http://www.sikorsky.com/details/1,,CLI1 … 54,00.html

if you go to the sikorsky website it clearly states near the bottom of the page that the seahawk is a derivative of the blackhawk. they both share the same airframe, engine and payload capabilities. and the newest version is the mh-60. the air force calls it the pavehawk while the navy calls it the knighthawk and army will keep its blackhawk name. it is a hybrid blackhawk/seahawk helicopter combining the weapons system (blackhawk), engines (seahawk) and external pylons (blackhawk). no matter how much upgrades you put in the airframe they are still considered part of the original blackhawk family of helicopters.

but if you guys want to be anal about these things then it is more accurate to call the helicopter used in bf2 as the s-70n naval hawk. it has all the features of the blackhawk for troop transport and the folding rotor head and tail pylon of the seahawk. the seahawk does not have room for the gatling gun position. that area of the cabin is occupied by avionics equipment.
