You do not get any negative points as commander if you are dropping artillery shells on your own team. No punishes either.
So what's to stop the commander for bombing to hell its own team?
Sure, your teammates may blow your artillery pieces and call for a mutiny or kick (votes don't work children, BF2 isn't a democracy), but you can just hop onto a heli or a jeep and run away from your teammates. Occasionally you can return to your asset base in your heli and you should automatically repair your assets and artillery pieces.
Besides banning these types of people, and getting their stats wiped, what else is there to stop them?
