In honor and celebration of the fact I had my first alcohol-free Friday night in many many moons I dedicate and open this thread to all matters sobriety-related. Any sober people online at the moment?

I haven't had a drink since the 11th of December. Apart from a couple of beers with dinner, here and there. Didn't even get drunk on New Year's Eve.
I have exams this coming week, and had work/essays to do over the Christmas period, so yeah.
Pretty impressive for a uni student, tbh.
Unfortunately, this record will become somewhat tarnished utterly obliterated on Friday, or maybe Thursday.

Didn't get drunk on new years eve. Currently sober, but last time I was drunk was last Saturday. First time I've been proper drunk in a year and a half.
Well after seeing this thread and trying to think back to the last time i was sober on a friday night i have come to a conclusion. I am an Alcoholic. I cant remember the last time i was sober at 10PM never mind on a friday

I gave up on getting drunk (purposefully, at least) when I started getting sick all the time. Body just couldn't take it any longer.
A nice buzz followed by little to no hangover the next day is delightful.
