yesterday my backyard was flooded 4 inches because the drains were backed up to the street because the whole street turned into a river.

When people talk about how global warming is a fraud because its so cold I can't help but think they are too stupid to have an opinion.

Not that I am a global warming nut, or insisting its true... but it sure makes it look a whole lot like they don't know much more about the theory besides its name.

You know what makes me laugh? SealXo posting a pic of a millimeter of water in his backyard when there are pictures all over the internet of various places in SoCal flooding, tornadoes, cars floating down the street and people floating across intersections. But goddamn, a millimeter of water under your patio cover? Fuuuuuck man, what an ordeal!

We are/were. We needed I think 9 inches to get out of the drought. I thought I heard we were expecting something like 22 inches over the week, so yeah, lots of rain. Plus a lot of fires so there's loose mud everywhere, which has people worrying about mudslides.

Notice he says "Some melted"

His point was that there was hail... That doesn't really happen in socal, seen it happen here maybe 4-5 times in my 25 years.

Basically OMG GLOBAL WARMING?! BUT ITS COLD.
(With out realizing that Global warming is just a term, and that the effect is supposed to be climate extremes, not just heat...)

But yeah, I am from Ventura area originally... and there it is 60-85 year round.

Now I am Pomona, where it is 50 - 95 year round.

So yeah, not too much hail... Handful of times really.

It was weird how there would be brilliant blue skies a few miles away and epic black downpours where you were. I saw the most amazing rainbows ever this week. Rainbows. Makes me want to smoke some hash.
