Canadians are so caring and compassionate and it make me proud of been living in Country as awesome as Canada.

there is a Telethon going on with Canadians celebrities hosting and performing to raise as much money as they can.

also "The Canadian Government will match the contributions of individual Canadians — up to a total of $50 million dollars."

i already donated what I could, it might not be much and but any amount is useful now.

it isn't a competition guys... good on anyone who is doing what they can. I'm watching the telethon right now, but isn't it in the US too? Either way, its pretty cool. If you call in to donate, they have a ton of celebrities who are answering the phones so you get to talk to a celebrity while donating. Plus its a concert. Cool shit.

arguable, imho. there's all sorts of motivations for helping other countries other than the primary one of giving humanitarian aid.

and i dont really agree that just cause a country is prosperous they should accept the financial and resource burden of helping everyone out when their shit hits the fan. not entirely, anyway. within reason.
