One time, years ago, I had to clean some gutters at a dog food factory above the train siding. I also had to replace some that was rotten.
The dog food raw ingredients came in by train and dust came off the cars as the food fell into the underground conveyor belt.
Imagine that food dust, which included powdered cat gut, slowly coating the roof over years.
So then it rains, and the dust washes down into the gutter, where flies land and maggots then breed.
The maggot shit cause the gutters over the train siding to rust and corrode.
We cut it out and put up new and clean the food scum out.
I made $1,200.00 that day and it wasn't enough.
