...and most of us spend it working, earning a little bit of money so people above us can get more of it.

I was just thinking about the amount of old people i know who still have to work to supplement their pensions etc... just to be able to live. Fuck, they already spent the best part of their life working and now, in arguably the years they should rest and enjoy life, they are still out at work.

Makes me sick.

Pensions and retirement are a relatively modern concept, except for the very rich.
OTOH with people living into their eighties and nineties they are spending almost as long retired as working, which can't be sustainable.

Baggs - You know the pension the goverment hand out every week at the post office. Thats gonna be gone and eaten up by the time we reach that age. Even though we pay into it every week.

I cant afford to save money each week never mind start a fucking pension. Been working half my life already and Im 34.
