The iPad is shit. It's just a larger and uglier version of the iPhone. Truly disappointing.

Comparing it to the iPhone fellas? The browsing-video-reading experience on a 3.5 screen and a 10 inch screen are not the same. I wonder if unlimited data is really unlimited.. or more like 5 gb. I think the services and content providers its matched up with will make or break this. We'll see in 60 days.

Nah most people will compare it to Netbooks/Laptops/other Tablets/anything electronic which falls within its ridiculous price range. They just say it's a larger iPhone or more correctly a larger iTouch or whatever they're called.
Really though iPhone's/touch are just smaller Tablet PC's rather than the other way round, which is what makes them so awesome. They should have released this a long time ago, even before the Phone/touch.

The starting price is lower than what most people anticipate.
I just don't see it being the same as the iphone/touch. Size matters mucho here. Especially if you're going to be selling content and services. Reading on my phone and reading on my kindle isn't even comparable.
