so, recently cashed some christmas money to add to the "money i never spend hidden in my bedroom" fund. And its reached 1kusd. (well, I had 1100, but that 5770 was irresistible... anyways)

I want to throw it into something fairly safe, but no shitty 1% bank account. I was thinking silver, but its pretty high right now compared to it was last year. maybe some OTC i find undervalued. serious cash can be made

ideas?

It doesn't really matter... if all you have to invest is 1k you are too broke to invest with any significant risk, so you will get shitty interest and make nothing anyway.
