I changed my mind about joining up and tomorrow I'm phoning them to let them know this. I won't bore you with my reasons why. Not entirely suer what I'm going to do now, but I have a few ideas

The standard reasons are a girlfriend, fear of death, home-sickness, and a change in the family's circumstance. What that doesn't encompass, which is actually a shorter list, is new opportunities (which rarely arise if you've had, what, 5 months of the same options?) and a realization that you are willing to wait longer than taking action (which is essentially the hopeful way of saying "you're a pussy, but...").
