while flying the jets its way too loud for me, cant hear a thing. already tried to turn normal volume down but makes everything else too quiet.

when you get in the jet theres an option on your keyboard to turn the jets off or you can set the jets to sound like this
already sounds like that.
The answer is no. You can play around with your sound.con to make your bullets quieter, delete the wind noise, flag noise, make other players footsteps/shots louder but you cannot make your own footsteps lower and you cannot change vehicle sounds.
I'd recommend turning the ingame effects down and playing some nice music when flying.

If you are using EAX, turn it off- it makes the jets sound stupidly loud
I use software sound on high quality and the jets sound fine
