what are the best idle and duty fan speeds for your average GPU ?

Also, do you guys think it would help a heat problem by removing the panels on the unused optical bays ?
My case has a door that covers the optical drives so I could keep it closed when not in use and open when gaming etc

thank you for any replies

good cases are designed for airflow. they take into account the cpu fan, gpu fan, etc. because it's about air pressure and movement.

i don't know if you have a 'good' case, but all you will accomplish by removing parts is changing the dynamics of air flow. now, if you put a screen and fan there pulling air in, do something that will help move air out.

as far as the gpu fan, i'd guesttimate 30% or less at idle, 75-90% at load. i wouldn't top it out, in fact i let the card decide and it's been fine for me.
