knife is the only bage i dont have waitng to get 50 kills then will go after the bagde only want to go knifing once
I got mine really easily, the first time I tried. I just kept spawning MEC at the hotel in Karkand and running towards the us spawn point. No stealth.. no flash bangs, just lots of bunny hopping.
I just tried to get my veteran..... and since the 1.2 patch I've found knifing extremely difficult. The resrictions on bunny hopping are a pain in the arse.. and not being able to slash mid-leap means its fucking difficult to time the death-slash properly.
Trying to knife people in 1.2, I've realised once you've run out of sprint.. people can run backwards just as fast as they can go forward.
Orion 5413.... I'm pretty sure you can't do that. If you get Veteran before basic..... the game doesn't see you've earned basic..... so you never get the good rank. I dunno if they've fixed this bug or not, but it hasn't appeared in any fix-lists.

i done it kinda cheating staying in the room on hotel mashturr just lying prone knifing now im after vet p.s that basic took no more than 30 mins
I got mine last night, it was the first time I tried to get it, too. Special thanks to the Squad leader, he was going behind the hotel and I would spawn on him, allowing me to get really easy knife kills.monkeyboy wrote:

Didn't think kills in SF caounted towards BF badges. I ran round in SF for ages trying for pistol, got 7 kills, and got nothing. Had to go back to BF, eventually got it.VeNg3nCe^ wrote:
I was playing Night Flight as SAS, joined mid-way (we had 170 tickets, enemy had 150) And I got 7 knife kills with 60 tickets remaining. Ppl just need to get off Karkand and knife badges aren't that hard.
Btw, I got Master Sarge a few days ago, loads of vet badges, but still can't get that bloody basic knife.
I suck.... Damn game.... Will still be playing 3 hours again tonight though. BF should carry a warning about addiction or sommat. D'oh
