They aren't going to procure something more heavily armored without mechanizing the entire army. Supply units don't generally need armored vehicles. They're generally reserved for front line troops. Why? Because the cost of uparmoring everyone is prohibitive and unnecessary. I rolled around Baghdad for an entire year in an aluminum shelled HMMWV and canvas doors. Would armor have made me safer? Absolutely. But it was completely cost ineffective because I wasn't leaving the wire more than once a month.-Sh1fty- wrote:
