Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
you sure do love planes!
Hands up who's training to be a Commercial pilot?
*raising hand*
There is still lots for me to learn about this baby. As I only know by the book operation. As soon as something unusual occurs I get basically lost.

Where are you training? That's pretty cool, getting an ATPL?Ioan92 wrote:

Actually its a long road until I get to the training phase, I'm just 17!PrivateVendetta wrote:

But this tool with surely help me when I'll arrive there, hell I know lots of 744 captains who used this for their ATP rating and annual prof-checks. They claim its 98% authentic, there's like 3-2 systems not working because of FSX's limitations.
fsx is good for navigation practice....thats about it. very good for IFR training.
Most flight schools prefer it if you don't have any sort of experience to start with, then you don't develop any bad habits.Ioan92 wrote:

Also, you won't be learning on a 744, so why get used to a huge jet like that, because when it really matters (when you are actually in the plane) you might not be so clear about how big it is.
I would recommend not doing too much, you might compromise yourself.
