Seems more like Kung Fu kid...
Could be good, or more likely will be shit, will probably try to see it purely for the nostalgia factor.

I like that it's set in China. Also, I like the role Jackie Chan is in. His age really helps with the humble character.
thoughts: no
I think it will be good. At least its not a blatant rip off of the original. New setting, new characters, new training.....
Meh, nothing will ever be like the original.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Looks good in the trailers... and Will Smiths son and Jackie Chan should be a good mix.
Love is the answer
Well, at least the visuals in the trailer deliver. What a beautiful country.

My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
This is going to be good just because it's kungfu instead of karate.
It´s a bit dumb they kept the name though

Yeah it should of been Kung Fu kid..... not Karate Kit as other people pointed it out, in china they practice Kung Fu, in Japan they practice Karate.... or Kung Fu originated in China, and Karate in Japan...
I guess that explains it.... but yeah the kid should have been older... and they should of stuck with the U.S. theme, like before..... where the kid is in High School.... or something....or who knows may be they are trying to make 3 -4 movies so they figure if they get the kid young he'll be able to do more movies for em.... depending on how the 1st one does...Although the island of Okinawa is regarded as the birthplace of karate, it’s origins can be traced back further, to China.
Jet Li calls it wushu instead of kung fu, you heathens
Looks better than I would have expected, but still probably won't see it.
I'm totally waxing off right now
looks great ill be watching it in theatres the week it comes out
It's just having a black kid in China is lulz.
When I went to China last summer the group I went with had 4 black people, they were probably the nicest black girls and guys i've met, but the chinese people were staring them down so much its like they never seen a black guy before, I was just standing there laughing my ass off, and when one of the black guy would go crip walk or whatever he would gather a huge crowd no matter when and where
also massage parlors
