Ridiculous statement. Vocabulary might be more formal but it's not unacceptable!

He used 'epitomise' (or '-ize') and 'ascribe'. These aren't even very 'posh' words. They're pretty standard vocabulary. I mean seriously, if you actually OBJECT to someone using those words ANYWHERE then...you're an idiot.

There ain't many people outside of NSW, wouldn't be surprised if it weren't
My point being, people badmouth Texas, but don't realize it has the best job market, and 3 of the top 10 housing markets in the US.

Forbes wrote:

The top of the complete ranking--which, for ease, we have broken down into the two smaller lists, of the best big and small cities for jobs--is dominated by one state: Texas. The Lone Star State may have lost a powerful advocate in Washington, but it's home to a remarkable eight of the top 20 cities on our list--including No. 1-ranked Odessa, a small city in the state's northwestern region. Further, the top five large metropolitan areas for job growth--Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Ft. Worth and Dallas--are all in Texas' "urban triangle."

Not so much. Again generalizations from those who haven't been here. And Texas takes more than 12 hours to drive across...kind of hard to generalize the population of something that size.

I wouldn't generalize Aussies or a region of Australia without having been there to experience it.

No, you´re wrong.
Using extremely formal speech and/or strictly fine behaviour amongst friends/relatives or on non-formal occasions and interactions (such as a gaming forum) is frowned upon and regarded as socially unacceptible.
Let alone he never said anything about him OBJECTING to use those words ANYWHERE...

Obviously you don´t take the time to read what either of us said.
Anyways, when your planet of inept rage and comprehension failure should allow for travel to our planet, make sure you book a flight. Until then, there seems to be not much sense discussing this further.
