Do you remember the POW German from Oregon? Not exactly a stereotypical "Good American, Bad Nazi" piece there! How about Operation Market Garden, where the Airborne/Armor was beaten at the first firefight? Sure, there were times where a small unit of paratroopers took on a much larger unit, like Brecourt Manor. It happened. The unit shown in Band of Brothers was one of the best performing units in the American military. Do you expect the producer to try to undercut that?

BoB followed the book it was based on pretty religiously. Yes, the book was based on first hand accounts but they did a really good job with the series.DrunkFace wrote:
