It has more to do with file formats and sharing. Windows is by far the most used platform in my industry.

Really?

Why? Which file formats and what issues would Macs have with sharing?

The best and most used RE software out there.

There are also various other programs, like Iris/Imapp, for looking up tax records and other information that have only been developed for the PC.

You can save and share databases/documents/templates files from these programs from PC to PC. Afaik you can't under OSX .

Mac meets my needs perfectly.

It isnt going to right for everyone... like linux, or even windows for that matter.

I mean, compiling C++ is a shit load easier in linux, yay terminal etc.
everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously.

Would be Linux if it supported games better. Therefore, Windows. (PC isn't an OS).

I'm very curious. I've always wanted to know the answer to this. And if you want, post what you use it for, too.
I prefer PC's, because I'm used to them, and they're pretty customizable. I use mine for gaming, and work. Yes, I am average Whoops, PC should be windows.
PC, but Linux is the future.

Ah right. So the specific piece of software you use at work is not Mac compatible, not uncommon (you'd be surpised how many Windows VMs there are running at Apple for precisely that reason).

That makes a lot of sense then.

I bet you could do the sharing BTW.

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
