Well, been 18 for almost a whole day now, and as with every year, I don't feel every different. Really was not excited about today at all, felt like every other day haha.
College as usual, forgot it was even my birthday til I got home.
My nan phoned me to sing happy birthday to me, but broke down in tears because she was upset my grandad wasn't there to sing it with her Almost made me cry too
Little update on my grandad if anyone cares; my dad went to see him today and he's gone back to not being able to do much. He's not very coherent when he talks, and forgot he was in the hospital at one point. We're hoping it's just caused by the amount of drugs he's on, and tiredness caused by the surgery.

And don't worry about birthdays not feeling special. They're really not Just another day, not like you're gonna feel an overnight change. Only thing a birthday is for me is an excuse to do whatever I want without anyone bothering me... but I do that pretty much all the time anyway
