I'm the Marketing & Promotion Assistant. Basically I set stuff up for the skatepark, band nights, demos, tours etc.
In my free time I skate/bmx at the park
That skate-rat.
Speaking of which, I made a discovery in physics yesterday. The friction caused by sliding on your ass down 10m of tarmac after an unsuccessful Coleman pendulum generates enough heat to actually warm up your buttocks in the outside temperature of 4C.

No, not a secretary.11 Bravo wrote:

do you have a degree in marketing?
Idk Camm, sounds pretty much like a secretary to me.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
There's a thin line between the terms "assistant" and "secretary". I mean, bathroom cleaners are "sanitary technicians" nowadays too. And while I'm "Division Manager", I'm actually more of a "Spit Cup".

well at least he has a job now. full time?
Yeah well apprentice here apparently means site manager, quality control, labourer, secretary, PR rep, financial consultant and delivery boy.DonFck wrote:

My job description changes daily. Being put in charge of other employees sucks ass when you have less than a years experience.

Fucking annoying tbqfh.
I'm meant to be learning how to build shit and yes, while I'm learning that I AM NOT FUCKING PAID ENOUGH TO MANAGE YO FUCKING SUBCONTRACTORS AND EMPLOYEES, NOR DO I GET FUCKING MANAGEMENT FEES.
Yes, this is a sore topic for me. I'm sick of being left on site for a week at a time while my boss and supervisor go do their own personal shit (mostly fishing/holidays) while I deal with their fucked up employees, juggle contractors and placate the project manager...
Fuck sakes I've only been in construction for less than a year. FUASOFISJDGDOSJHDSHdfhjiah

No, but I'm still not a secretary. I actually have to do stuff myself, not take calls for other people.11 Bravo wrote:

25 hours a week, 6 month employment.11 Bravo wrote:

6 month? can they hire you full time after 6 months if they like you?
Unfortunatly not11 Bravo wrote:

Because I'd been unemployed for 6 months before my last employment, which ended in February (Xmas temp), I got put onto this government scheme called 'New Deal', where they help you to get a job quicker, suffice to say, it was excellent, I got a job this job two days after my initial interview with a New Deal advisor.
They take on people for 6 months at a time, to give them work experience, training, and referees.
thats odd because if i liked someone i would hire them. weird setup.
Yeah, I reckon it's just to give unemployed people more of a chance.11 Bravo wrote:

Oh well, it'll look good on my cv. I've got a lot to set up.
The poetry of John Donne makes me feel anxious. Cowper, however, calms me.
Shit, turns out I am insane.

A CV is normally an academic reference list, you means a resume.CammRobb wrote:
