Another thing I really love about the show, and definitely one of its defining factors is the quality of the actors. They're at that perfect awkward point where you aren't totally sure if they're acting bad on purpose or really are that bad but good enough to still pull off the subtleties. It's astounding.
And when I first saw David Liebe Hart on Tim & Eric I shat my pants because I knew I recognized him from somewhere. He sits outside the Hollywood Bowl singing songs with his puppets as people enter and leave for concerts.
