The shorter the barrel the less accurate it will be. You also get better muzzle velocity (Higher speed = longer range).

I switched from an M4 to an M16A4. The M16A4 is longer but I really don't see why people complain about it, I can use it just fine in CQB. M4s are more practical - granted - but I like longer weapons better.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.

Nice choice on the M16A4.  I use a G3A4.  I like it, but accessories, mags, and mag pouches are much more expensive and hard to find.   
An M16 is probably THE best choice for a long-barreled AEG.

Also yeah, i see alot of people going for the M4 rather than the M16. I mean in the end with the buttstock fully out its more or less the same length as the m16. I'm kinda tired of the M4 now, i was thinking of selling it and getting either a Magpul Masada or an Ak.

For assault rifles I like the look of the G36/G36C much better than a M16/M4

I might buy an MWS system for it, so that I can mount more things.

It depends where you play.  Most of the major events around here ban winding mags (except for the squad machine gunner).  Most people run with 8+ 100-150bb mags.  I run with 8 58rd mags, 2 20rd mags, and a speed loader (sometimes a bag of bbs in my pack, if I know we are in for a heavy defensive battle).  Most scenarios are under 4 hours, and I have only needed to go to the bag twice.  540rds is usually more than enough for a couple hours.
