For some reason I'm not seeding anything. Even though there are leeches on these torrents and even though I've fully downloaded the files. My bittorrent port is totally open but it's still not uploading.

Hmm, check their whitelist to see if your client is still on it. Also, 67 seeds to 5 leeches isnt likely to net you much, especially if one or two is a seedbox.

@Winston yeah, liquidat0r was talkin to me on IRC earlier and he said a few of the seeders on this one torrent were seedboxes. So how the hell do I keep my ratio good if I get bested by seedboxes?
edit: I decided to download a torrent with a ton of leeches and I still am not uploading. What the fuck? I don't think it's a problem with my network because I've uploaded on other torrents before. It only seems to be torrents from this tracker that give me problems.

it depends on the ratio though, is it one with a lot of seeders as well? have you checked their whitelist to see if your client is allowed?Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Yeah it had a few thousand seeders. And they do support my client.
I get ass-raped by seed boxes too, I can barely keep my ratio positive on one private tracker I'm a member of. Except Pirate Bay and Demonoid, I still can seed those back to >1.0 ratio...

I'm on a private music site and since the files are so small, I rarely get a kB in before the seedboxes finish it all. I've got 146 torrents active right now, all with a handful leeches, and I'm not uploading a thing. All I can do is leave my computer on 24/7 which fetches enough upload for me to be satisfied, and try to find new stuff. Also, abuse the living daylights out of freeleach events.

@Defiance yeah you're right the 500MB is the 'free' upload. I have 500.46MB uploaded... so yes, I think it's just a matter of me being beaten by seedboxes since I do have a little bit uploaded.

Seedboxes are generally on 100/100 lines though, some are on gigabit lines too
