BF2S Forums =CDU= Clan worst (or best) clan for stat padders.

Nothing more to say (but there will be a "you are gay" response for sure).

Nothing like having 1300 kills with the knife only using it for 2 hours...better kill/time ratio than any of the guns... hmmmmm that couldn't be stat padding....move along

I 'still don't care bout BF2,but it's sad to see ppl talk this way about
a clan and it's members,without ever been on their servers and forum.
And all because an ex clanmember is still upset for being kicked out.

The original idea of this thread was to show that CDU players stat pad in BF2 and anyone who pads deserves to have their stats wiped.
Now i really couldn't give a shit who started the post whether it was an ex member of your clan or not, bottom line is he was right, you do all deserve to get your stats wiped and if this makes you stop playing then it is better for all of us, as 90% of players in BF just wanna play and aren't interested in stats like you obviously are.
You maybe nice guys to speak to and you probably  like having fun, but you seem like the kind of people who should be avoided in video games.

I'm not going to attempt to insult anyone here....not even M720J4 or whatever name Duck is using now. This post was to smear a clan...period. If you think it's cheating to stat pad then call CDU whatever you would like....feel free to trash us and tell everyone not to play on CDU servers (as Duck said, Stay away at all cost) or whatever. The truth is, since we started CDU (2 or three years ago) Duck has been the only member kicked out of CDU. The only one. Funny that he threw some crap on the wall like this and then doesn't post again once he was identified and an ex-member. I'm sure that he can't wait to read this thread everyday.....sad. Sorry for all your pain Duck....I really hope the best for ya.

I'm not going to attempt to defend CDU members here because I don't feel that there is anything to defend. And no CDU member has left or is going to be asked to leave over something as stupid as this. Personally, I have never stat padded. If I gave two shit's about the game, I might have....only to unlock new cool weapons or whatever. But I've been using the BF2 disk for a drink coaster for quite awhile now. I don't care for the game. If you like shooting at a bunch of soldiers that are hopping around like a bunch of jackasses with long arms....fine....have a blast.

I don't feel stat padding is cheating....it's lame, sure... but EA intentionally wrote the game in a way that allows this to happen. It's not like a map glitch or a hack that was not meant to be placed in the game.  EA, claiming to be a company that is in-touch with the on-line gaming community, wrote a game that uses a ranking system to reward players and allowed that system to be exploited legally. There were no rules on the box saying stat padding could not occur. They didn't make you sign something saying that you would not do this. They wrote the thing in a way that requires you to log in to a steam like account....play only where they want you to play....and does not allow server-side modding. Sorry, didn't you purchase the game....is it not yours? Shouldn't you play it the way you want to play it?

So here it is. CDU is an adult clan. We've given much to the on-line gaming community. We pioneered "server-side" modding in DC. We've gain a rep as a well admined clan with a firm but fair style. And we've maintained up to five servers on donations alone. If you want to judge us...then do a search at www.desertcombat.com forums for CDU and see what's been said by players that were not kicked out of the clan for doing the same thing that was done here.

Ok I haven't said anything on this but I think I will. To all of those of you who are taking this up as your personal crusade to smear the CDU name, u need to come down off your pedestal. it is entirely possible that some of our members have stat padded, which is not surprising considering the game revolves around stats as well as our clan is like 100-150 members or whatever we're up to now. Deal with it. It doesnt put shit in your coffee so move on.

One of the drawbacks of a "max"-based stat recording system is it does just that, records only the max. If you stat padded the first day the game came out, then played legit forever, then ppl [you ppl] will look and see a big max and say OMGWTFHAX! rather than look at KDR or Kills per minute which offsets raw score with a time-scale and gives a more accurate portrayal of the activities of that player.

Once again, for the people taking this up as their own personal crusade...I dont know how to break it to you...but...I personally dont care if you hate on us. Its obvious your never going to visit our server and never have kuz if you HAD been on our server you would be on the other side of the argument.

I think it speaks volumes that every single person here throwing accusations has never been to the server or played with us while our public non-affiliate players have taken it upon themselves to speak up for us and vouch for character.

So go ahead and cry about some number you seen on the internet if that makes you feel better. if any of you are adults I think you would be above such things, but to each his own.

Facts are facts, you guys padded & were caught, from the sounds of it you guys dont even care for bf2 anymore which is great! move on to the next game, just let us know what it is so we can avoid it.
