Maybe I missed this but I am hoping it will be something good. Not a fan of either the MP5 (who is?) and the DAO just doesn't do it for me like the Jackhammer. Ideas?

Thanks. That's a fugly looking gun. I hope it has some accuracy to it. I've always found it odd that I can artfully guide my shoulder launched rocket into the tender tracks of a tank from a block away, but my MP5 can't hit the side of a barn and the DAO is only good to about 10 meters out.

Ug, I need to save up. The civilian version the PS90 starts at $1600. That is a sweet gun. It already commands prices of $3000 because the supply cannot meet demand.

though i find the MEC base gun, the PP19 i think to be pretty damn good at medium ranges, much better than the mp5 anyway

Yes, I will generally take the PP19. It's not nearly as shabby as the MP5. Sniping with the rocket is an underappreciated art form.Shivan wrote:

The P90 in reality is decently accurate, but not especially leathal. Its well known for its comfort and control in full auto, as well as its high ammunition count. I imagine that it wont be all that accurate, but wont suffer from extended fire. Just a guess.

yes I do, please give me one. I dont know why anyone would comment on a gun for which they dont have a clue how DICE has implemented (unless your a betateseter??). The implementation within BF2 has little to to do with real world behaviour, its mostly just appearance.josh's wrote:

I love the shape of the p90 (seems like nowadays the design of the rifle is getting more and more ergonomic/sexy/beautiful), but, also think that its gonna be much like the MP-7 in SF. Five hundred bullits a second, sexy sound, but no power, magazine empty in 1/2 a second. I hope its not like that though...
50 bullet clips, so running out i na pinch shouldn't be a real problem. Rate of fire is medium/high. Damage I'm guessing medium. Good for medium range.ilyandor wrote:

But that's all based on CS, who knows what it will be like in BF2

I think it's ugly myself. Doesn't look like a rifle at all, looks like a ovalized tube with a barrel.
I too prefer the PP19 over the MP5, although the MP5 is fine if you're good with it.
I read that there was experimental ammunition for the P90 that can defeat a steel target.??!!!???
