Bio-chemical engineering is unlikely...
Civil Engineering; looking to get into the transportation side of things.
What about you? I think I have you down as a first- or second-year in uni.

And there I was giving him the benefit of the doubt...
Congrats on not failing high school Jens! Good luck with economics, I'm sure it'll be quite the struggle, try not to fail!
Anyways it's 3am and I should probably go to sleep. G'night, folks. I'll be sure and have sweet dreams of Steve Aoki feeding me Grey Goose while I excitedly jump up and down during his pre-mixed set.

UCLA civil engineering graduate is not bad going...
Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Meh, I thought you were receiving gifts for graduating high school, which, imo, would be stupid.mtb0minime wrote:

Yale is overrated.
no, I never applied to exeter or roho. St.Andrews, LSE, UCL, Warwick, Queen MarryUzique wrote:

It was annoying really, I visited the schools, was told the requirements (last year's requirements, rather), and apart from LSE, where I wasn't accepted, they've all gone up by around 0.5 points on the average grade requirements, which is quite significant considering I have 24 grades, and would then need to improve by a whole grade in 12 subjects, especially when 15 of them were completed pre-application. Spoken to several other Norwegians who've experienced the exact same thing - weird.
so tl;dr: accepted at St.A, UCL, Wwck but won't be able to fulfill req's, can go to Queen Marry if I want but got accepted at a better uni here in Norway, so I'll do that instead and do a year as a foreign exchange student in England if I want.
Well I'm off to the USA, might be online a little bit, but not much until I get back in late September

Whaaaaaaat ?? That sound harsh to say the least, surely they would have communicated this with you before accepting you, and even if they didn't they must have offered you some other path to getting in. They just said, "Oh you don't meet the requirements now even though we accepted you, thanks" ?

no.justice wrote:

probably best you didnt go there
tl;dr: you applied to schools in england that you associated a pretention of 'class' and 'goodness' with, and didnt make the grade for any

it doesn't work like that. you get a conditional way ahead of getting your results and the university admissions department doesn't change for that active year. next year, perhaps. but not that active academic year. unless norway's application/acceptance system sucks dick. which im pretty sure it doesn't, cause there's quite a few norwegians at my uni who didn't get burned. im sure jens has rolled over onto that one thoughjustice wrote:

If I had the money, I'd travel 6 months in the Northern Hemisphere then another 6 months in the Southern and alternate like that for the rest of my life.bennisboy wrote:
