i saw a police car on a bridge over a motorway the other week. scared the fucking life out of me. luckily i saw it in time (i hope) and slowed from 90 odd to 60 lol. must have looked well suspicios :p although this was two weeks ago so hopefully nothing will come in the post for me. fingers crossed.

But it doesn't immediately correct the behavior. Obviously I don't have a feel about how far you guys drive over there but here if someone is doing 80 outside typical commute times they are most likely going to keep that pace up for hundreds of miles until they get where they are going.

I think reasonable speeding is ok. 30 zones just seem so damn slow!

I wasn't driving recklessly, it was mid-day on an empty straight motorway. yeah i know everyone says the same, but there was no way anyones life was in danger by my actions.

and it's not the fine I'm worried about, I'd gladly pay twice as much if it meant a speed awareness course and no points.

throughout the various teams ive played for ive been centre back, left, right and centre mid, behind the front 2, lone striker and goalkeeper

play pretty much anywhere, but only as a last resort anywhere but midfield, mostly left centre mid so i can have a couple of cracks at goal and a few crosses to far post
