If you are going to play a international online-game you are often required to be able to somehow speak and understand english.
Still, very few seem to be able to understand simple words like "sorry".

I was playing Karkand this evening on a 64-player server and got a tk that was both mine and the victims fault.
One second later I revive him.
Now here comes the intresting part, I say "sorry" four times which often means that you not should punish me because: 1.It  was a human mistake/accident 2. It was partially your fault.
But this guy, like many others, doesn't seem to understand the word "sorry" and punishes.

I personally punish maybe 1/3 of the times and that is because I was tk'ed by purpose.

SO PLEASE LEARN NOT TO PUNISH OR PLEASE LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH BEFORE YOU PLAY BF2

Yes! Everyone else accomidate to me! Just because you were born halfway around the world and were raised on a totally different language, and you still live and work there, doesn't mean you shouldn't learn MY language just in case!

Please, grow up.
Good to be back.

They get the Sorry message in their native tongue so the guy was just being a prick

and I only punish in Intentional TK's or COMPLETE stupidity

DO NOT PUNISH when you run over a friendly mine, if you can't see the big red skull and crossbone warning, You should be fucking banned for being either A) Blind and unable to play to the full extent of the game or B) for being a fucking retard

If someone punishes me for a TK, I simply keep my eye out for that person in a vehicle (which happens 99% of the time) then hurl myself in front of him to even the score.

If it's some idiot who's too stupid not to take out my red-jolly-roger claymore with his face, I'll do it a few times until he gets kicked.

Kommt doch jeweils auf den Server drauf an, wo man spielt. Isses ein deutscher Server: Deutsch - Isses Englischer -> Englisch.

Always depends on the server you're playing. German Server -> German, English one -> English...

Mostly everyone understands english, it's most common but that shouldn't make it essential for everyone to speak.

What more sucks is that punishing is kind of sport. Always punish first instead of watching. That's annoying. I always try to watch the situation but sometimes difficult since so many tk'ing idiots out there: Waiting for a "mine mine mine" plane / heli - whatever. Yesterday I was on a bigger street in the middle, crossing - some guy came speedy in a jeep and drove over me without any sign of trying to avoid crash (break or left/right). I first thought: Enemy - but was Team-M8. So I hit the punish-button. Few secs later I found myself revived by the same guy, he stopped and healed me. Few more secs later I was shot down by whoever and the same guy came back and heald me another time. Damn I felt sorry for teh punish - but also said thx & sry several times... shit happens... thanks to these "Mine Mine Mine Killaz"..

I think talking english is ok (although I am from Austria), because it is easy to learn. In Voip ot TS you can choose the language u like and for the needed commands or swears, english is perfect.

I was in a squad the other night, an no kidding, had a guy from France, one from England, one from Turkey I beleive, and one from the "deep" south of the United States.  The only one I could not understand was the Southern guy.
