How do unlock the G36E

ok guys i couldnt find anything and this is my first post soo... i have one unlock avaible on my screen and i got the unlock before my Special forces game was installed, which i got today. how do i make it avaible to were i can select to unlock the SF weapons? do i do this in SF or BF2? can you earn unlock points in BF2 for SF weapons? thanks in advance

on another note the only unlocks i have are the Barret and the G3, is the G36E a good next weapons for me? i usually play assault and medic with the occasional sniper.

To unlock the G36E you need the first Medic unlock first. Same goes with all the other SF unlocks, you have to unlock the regular BF2 weapons for a kit first before the SF ones of the same kit are available.

well depending on what rank you are, the higher ranks get two per rank^. the other two unlocks are probly the two free ones EA gave everyone to unlock the new AT and Sniper wepaons that are coming with the new patch.

no you dont b/c i have seen private's running around with the g36e you just need to play SF and you get it in SF

I'm saving my random two unlocks for the P90 and the L96A1. I hope I can get the P90 without getting the DAO-12, but I'll probably have to get both a'la, SF.

You get your first 'two' unlocks at Sergeant. Lance Corporals and Corporals only get one.

I'm playing plain BattleField (v 1.2, and not SF) - so my question is; how do -I- get the G36E? I got the 1st medic unlock, and now I have another unlock to make, but I can't find the G36E there .. Is if only for SF?
And should I get SF perhaps?

As had been stated earlier, you can only get a SF unlock after you already have the corresponding BF2 unlock. You need the DAO-12 first. (I HATE this, but it's true.)

Norwegian-AMERICAN - The unlocks don't become available to you unless you've played on SF. There is a trick, though. You don't actually have to BUY SF. If you know somebody that has it, you can have them play on your account and you will get access.

We're talking about unlocks. The G36E is a default gun for the SAS, so of course privates can get it

My fingers are itching to use the new unlock I got - so my question is:
If not the G36E - then what weapon should I unlock?

And before you redirect my arse to older threads or the comparison-page -- I know, I know! I'm just not that good with numbers, and I just want a simple meaning or two ..
I'm usually Medic or Spec-Op, but if there's any weapons that stands out, let me know. I've been thinking about the Sniper-unlock (1st), but last unlock I chose the L85A1 - only to hear and see that it's not so good. Just don't want to make the same mistake once more!

I kno, i unlocked it but im not very keen on using the G36E, i much prefer (and would advise) the G36C (spec ops) or the L85A1, u could look at the DAO-12 but it depends how u play.

You'll love your G36E when you get it. I really enjoy it. It has made playing medic really fun. I've become addicted to playing medic, because now I very rarely have a bad round. Sometimes I may get spawn killed, arty'd, or just plain old pwn'd, but at least I have the chance to pick up healing and reviving points. Other times, my little medic is sort of an assault guy that lurks behind the guys leading the charge and picks off the baddies iwth the G36E. Then, he rushes in to revive and heal.

I really like the G36E. I think I've made that obvious. :-)
