Don't really know much about them, heard Sony was a bad idea unless I wanted to waste money, and not looking for a Macbook. Budget is <900$, preferably under 800$. Need to run CAD probably and a long battery life(least 4 hours if possible). Could use some help.

EDIT: Forgot, don't want a big monitor, 15-16 in is perfect, have a larger one I can hook up.

I planning on dumping coffee on it for the break, and I really have no clue what CAD I will be running. Doing Civil Engineering(watch out, I'm putting thermal paste on your bridges).
