A few days ago I went after my Veteran Spec Ops Specialist on Iron Gator. I had 31 kills and never did it say "You've been awarded..." The next day, thinking it was a one off, I tried again. Same map and everything. Got 47 kills, still never gave me the award. This isn't it not showing up in BFHQ, it's not even getting that far. It's not even giving them to me in the first place.

I've got 26 hours as Spec Ops and rounds of 31 & 47 kills.

An EA rep tells me I don't meet the requirements for the award and that the requirements I was using (UBAR) are incorrect. And that this subject "requires no further correspondence".

WTF?!

I thought the 1.2 patch might fix it but it hasn't. Round of 28 kills and no badge awarded.

Interesting.  I just got this badge yesterday myself, as a matter of fact.  Maybe there's some requirement there that most people get naturally so the community hasn't realized that it's part of the badge.  That totally sucks, though. 

At least you seem to have no trouble getting enough kills.  I had a hard enough time just getting to 20!

I always play on EA OFFICIAL servers they are most of the time good

It's in the code what the requirements are. And it hasn't changed (unless the patch did something, but I was was having this problem before the patch anyway). I recently got everything BF2 off my computer (including settings, screenies, profiles...) and reinstalled everything and I'll give it ago later tonight. I hope this fixes it. If not, I know it's nothing on my end.

And thanks for the compliment. I've noticed I get more kills when going for the badges. You tend to throw caution to the wind to get the kills/points, unlike if you were playing just for fun.

EA OFFICIAL servers dont exists. ppl just put that in the servername so ppl will join.

It's in the code what the requirements are.
Oh, is THAT how they figure out the requirements... by reverse engineering the code?

You can just use word pad to view the the file. It ain't anything special.

Uninstalled everything for BF2. Reinstalled, BF2, SF & 1.2...

Still no badge. Round of 28 kills and no badge. I'm at my wits end. The servers I play on are the only Aussie SF servers, EA says the requirements (UBAR) are wrong and I'm not eligible (BS), FFS!

i get that too on gator.

i get 47 kills and no expert, at the end of round, under most played kits i never have one, its only spec ops
