Alright so i have this older Gateway computer my friend gave me. Everything is here such as video card, ram, cpu etc etc. The only problem is when i plug it in it starts up but nothing pops up on screen. What are some POSSIBLE things wrong with it? You don't have to hit the nail on the head ill try 'em all. Also the CMOS light is 'red'. It doesn't boot up and make any beeps like it should so idk where to go.

Nvidia Geforce FX (AGP)
512mb Ram
Thats about all i know of it.
*UPDATE* Video card does not turn on. Original owner told me he tried other video cards but nothing prevailed. Broken motherboard?
