No it doesn't. +34 is the hottest we've had in 70 years or so. A normal summer around these parts of Finland = May: Last snow melts, 4-14C, June 15-20C, July 17-27C, August 18-22C, September 12-18C.Finray wrote:

you know, -20 is allright - at least there's a way to deal with it. i've been out at -38 and it wasn't so bad, it's just a matter of putting the right clothes on an learn how to breath at those temperatures. +40 is bloody torture one just can't escape though - nobody's been planning for those temperatures here, ever.DonFck wrote:
