I'm saying buying a Razer mouse is basically paying more for the brand name.

Sure, some Razer products have some extra features, but they're mostly useless, and in no way make it worth double the amount of money.

Why not buy an Alienware system while you're at it.

Meh, when it comes to (hand)peripherals it's:

tbh

The only non-logitech I have atm is my Lenovo Wireless Bluetooth Laser mouse for my netbook, it's pretty damn sexy, but it's a laptop mouse.. not full-size...

In the past ~5 years I have bought 2-3 mx518s but I have had 5-6 (3 year warranty ftw)
I wear them out in a year, go to the store and get a new one free of charge... 3 years later, buy a new one...

Currently have a very worn one and a half-worn one for laptop and desktop respctively, if either died I'd probably replace it with a G500

I've had my DeathAdder for probably 2 years now, maybe more, maybe less but I've not noticed any wear or quality degrade in it, physically and on a software side. Even the writing on the bottom is still all there!

It's a bit dirty, but if cleaned, could pass off as brand new.

jesus christ stop arguing about logitech and razer you dumbasses. none of the company are lowering their prices any time soon.

besides i think the comparison to alienware is a moot-point... peripherals make a big difference when you pay for quality items/brands. alienware has hyper-inflated prices for a fancy case and a badge on the front-- the hardware is exactly the same. with mice and keyboards there is usually a notable difference in quality from the budget-office to the gaming-designed ones.

Lol @ showing the cheaper left-handed edition.

Edit: Okay, G500 is $80.
I change my "Paying for the brandname" statement to "Wasting money no matter the brand".
