Drinking reduces reflexes. So when that little dumb kid comes into the street from the corner of your eye to get his ball, he'll be a nice pancake fresh with warm red cranberry sauce.

same with someone who spilled their coffee......-Sh1fty- wrote:

once again your logic is failing
What is your point?11 Bravo wrote:

I'm saying drinking reduces your reflexes. It's a more common problem than idiots spilling their coffee. Also people who spill their coffee aren't always in a high-risk situation.
You can't ban drinking coffee in your car. Simply because it's not that big of a problem, it doesn't happen all the time and when it does you're only disoriented for a few seconds. Driving while being buzzed or drunk is more likely to cause problems.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
how do you know? i bet if you add up all the shit people do besides drinking that causes accidents, the numbers are way worse.-Sh1fty- wrote:

i know. same with cell phones. only recently have they checked into that kind of stuff. smoking also. ban smoking.RTHKI wrote:
the problem with that is if you try to see the number caused by something like spilling coffee itd be hard to prove since the coffee could have spilled during the impact. and people do lie.
I never notice them
I agree with that, but when one thing is a major cause as opposed to multiple little causes combined then your main focus will be to restrict the biggest problem. You can't ban people from adjusting their rear view mirror, or drinking non-alcoholic beverages, eating, listening to the radio, etc.11 Bravo wrote:

Another big problem is cellphones. How are you supposed to maintain a conversation while watching all of the vehicles around you for lane switchers or somebody who isn't paying attention and might cause a crash.

i can lose my licence if someone isnt wearing it so i make them wear it or they can walk

I'm saying that cellphones are distracting and could provoke an accident.Dilbert_X wrote:

OK, I thought you were saying other drivers were distracting you from your cellphone calls while you were driving.
Fuck Israel
Unless you're using a hands-free device, talking on your cellphone while driving here in Ontario is a $500 fine. I think more countries should adopt this law tbh.
why? enough data has been collected in some states that prove hands free doesnt work or lower the numbers.

As an aside, I wonder how many people will get into wrecks trying to get their bluetooth shit to work...
I just don't think you can be alert for retards not driving properly when you're in a discussion on your cellphone. Cellphone or ear piece it's distracting to listen to the other person speak. Just talking to somebody in the car with you can get you in an accident.
I over emphasize this a little since it's not that dangerous but when you're in an area with a lot of traffic things can get out of hand.
I'm saying this, but I've never driven before, so keep that in mind. It's just based on watching other people.
