Value this pocket watch

So I've spent the last week or so on and off trying to value this watch by finding the same one and seeing what it sold for. No luck as of yet, so I come to you, bf2s. I found it in storage and it's my late Grandads old pocket watch, so it has some amount of sentimental value. I'm a realist though so if I can get more than £50 for it I'll happily sell it.

On the face it says

Ingersoll LTD
London
Triumph

I've looked around and Ingersoll seem to be the Casio of later times, but they can still go for a fair bit. Triumph from what I can gather was made to be the "dollar watch", but adjusting for inflation and collectors and what not I'm sure it's worth a bit more now.

On removal of the rear plate it says

Made is Great Britain
62

From reading around I gather the 62 is the date it was made, so it's just shy of 50 if I'm correct. So not going to be worth millions.

I'd be the same were in handed down in some "keep it in the family to remember" me kinda setimental moment. It's just something that has been living in a lock up the last 5 years that my Mum probably inherited with a bunch of other things.

I wouldn't imagine very much. Old watches seem to lose a lot of their value. You'll find Rolex's and Omega's and things from the 60's that are selling for 100 or so pounds whilst their current models sell for 4k+. I don't believe Ingersoll have ever made particularly expensive watches. But you'd need to talk to a collector/jeweller.

I registered at another forum and a member siad based on similar watches 100-150 dollars.

Mmm they sell for all differant amounts, id like to see the exact same one sell though then I know. Kinda why I made this thread, I can't find the same model of watch on the net.
